@Alexey: so do you suggest that jQuery is breaking the RTE? I've heard of a case that a certain piece in SharePoint (one of the pickers if I'm not wrong) uses the $ name. As loading jQuery overrides it by default it might just happen that it causes the error that you're seeing. Have you tried loading jQuery safely?

Hi Waldek,

Have you seen anything like this in SP2010? Specifically I see RTE breaking on NewForm at $v_3.moveToElementText($v_2) where $v_2 is an HTMLBody.

I also load jquery-1.4.4 production there. all custom scripts are disabled currently.

@Alex Angas: I'm not sure about all the steps that were taken in the farm setup. I think it was SP2 only without although I might be wrong.

Hi Waldek,

I'm not finding this problem although I have the February 2009 CU installed. Does this happen to SP2 servers as well or was it patched between SP1 and SP2?
