Last week I had the honor of presenting a session about SharePoint 2013 Web Content Management on SharePoint Connections Amsterdam 2013. Following is the presentation deck from my session.
With the new SharePoint 2013 user segments we can display relevant content to our visitors. What if however we wanted to use user segments not only to control the content but to control Web Parts as well?
We all want our website to be found on the Internet. We also know that web pages that are displayed high in search results are more likely to be clicked on. Because of this, website owners are continuously trying to improve their website so that Internet search engines will display them high in their search results.
Anonymous Search Results Cache is a great way of optimizing the performance of your public-facing website that uses search-driven publishing. Unfortunately things look a little less optimistic when combined with User Segments.
Last Saturday I presented on the SharePoint Saturday Holland 2013 on building intelligent websites using SharePoint 2013. Following is the presentation deck from my presentation.
