#41 Learn to connect your app to Microsoft 365

Have you considered connecting your app to Microsoft 365? It’s what millions of people use for work every day, it’s where they spend their days. And your app can be a part of it. Here’s the easiest way to learn how to get started.

I don’t know about you, but I prefer learning in a structured way. In the past, I’d read books, beginning to end. Books would take me through the high-level overview slightly going deeper in each chapter.

Don’t get me wrong, blogs and videos are awesome too. I read blogs every day. They’re an invaluable source for getting more knowledge. But not so for learning. Typically, they’re short and focused on one specific problem. Basically, letting you peer through the keyhole. But hardly a way to grasp the whole concept.

But there is a third option. Just recently, my teammates and I published a new learning path on Microsoft Learn about Microsoft Graph - the API to connect to Microsoft 365. It’s for beginners and it explains everything you need to know to get started. It tells you what you need to know about auth, tokens, and getting data from Microsoft Graph. And it does so in a structured way, just like books used to.

If you want to learn about connecting your app to Microsoft 365, the Microsoft Graph learning path is the best place to start. And if you know about it already, it’s a great resource to share with your colleagues and customers, to help them skill up.

Check out the Microsoft Graph fundamentals learning path and I’d love to hear what you think of it.
