Office Development MVP 2018-2019

I have just received a message from Microsoft, that for the 10th time in a row, for my contributions to technical communities, I’ve been awarded the Microsoft MVP title.

Changes

I’ve been working with Microsoft technologies for over a decade. In that time, I’ve seen both Microsoft and its ecosystem going through a number of changes. One that I love the most, is how Microsoft is embracing open source and social media. Never before, it was so easy to find the relevant resources or get in touch with Microsoft engineers and product managers.

Sharing is caring

But also to contribute. Shortly after I joined Rencore, where we help organizations across the world to use SharePoint and Office 365 without compromises, I became a part of the SharePoint PnP team. For the last months we’ve been trying to help developers embrace the SharePoint Framework and migrate their collaboration solutions to benefit of the investments in the modern UI. My contributions have been spanning from helping with issues on GitHub to recording webcasts and writing official documentation.

What’s next

I will keep focusing on the SharePoint Framework and building solutions for SharePoint and Office 365. You can expect to see me publish more resources in this space on this blog, the Rencore blog or one of the SharePoint PnP GitHub repositories.
