#9 You can work with anyone you like

For a long time, you could work together only with your colleagues, people in your team sitting in the same office. But this is no longer the case. Today you can work together with anyone you want.

I live in the Netherlands and work in a company located in Germany. My colleagues live in Germany, Spain, Sweden, and the UK. But I also get to work with some great folks from Finland, Ireland, Italy, Belgium, the US, Australia, anywhere in the world really. I get to work with folks who aren’t my colleagues and I get to learn from some of the most knowledgeable folks in the industry. And so can you.

We all work at different companies, have different backgrounds, personal interests, preferences, experience. The one thing that binds us is a passion for technology and helping others. And this is what makes it great. We bring our different perspectives and experiences and can learn from each other going beyond the boundaries of teams, organizations, or even the whole company.

How to do it? It’s simple. Start participating in the open-source community. If you work with Microsoft 365, Microsoft 365 PnP is the best platform to share your work and get feedback from others. Ask questions, share your samples, present your solution to the rest of the community. Get out there and start working with whomever you want today.
